At Okinawa International School, we work hand in hand with the parents to promote healthy and meaningful experiences for the children. The NEST is the official parents' council of the Preschool and Kindergarten Department. The FOREST is the official parents' council of the Elementary Course Department. Each class has two representatives chosen during the orientation who become officers of their respective councils. The NEST and FOREST councils together with the school join effort in organizing activities such as the Fund Raising, Hinamatsuri, Mochitsuki, and Tanabata Day.
