Grade placement

OIS school year starts in April and ends in March.
Applicants must meet the age requirement by the end of March, before the school starts in April the grade is determined by taking into account that the date of birth and the age of the student, which applies to the transfer students and those from outside of Japan whose school year is different from that of OIS. Wanting to transfer to OIS without completing the course in the previous school, the student must complete the course at OIS before going on to the next grade. OIS will continue observing the newly transferred students several weeks to make the final judgment for the grade placement.
